This gem is the Archibald N. Cardwell house, built in what was originally called Boyd's Creek, TN. The unfortunate tale of this house is that Cardwell fell off the tower roof while he was building it, and later died form his injuries. Great photo by the way.

It is Design No 1, from Cottage Souvenirs 2. Is that the same as the Rosemont plan?

I don't think so, but I'm actually not sure of this. I am still looking for any decent documentation of the "Rosemont" house. I believe that Rosemont was a design that matched the design of "Pinecrest", the house that exists at 131 E. Scott Avenue. But again, I am not positive of this, and I am looking for documentation in support of this. Perhaps you can visit the McClung Collection and see if there is anything there on Rosemont.
