Tell us about yourself:: I live here in the midwest and specialize in original and reproduction hardware for furniture and homes chair caning materials, as well as lamp & trunk parts. I belong to the local historical society, and on their board of directors. and have done lots of work on there historic villiage

Tell us about your old-house experiences and dreams:: been involved with antique hardware for about 25 years and antiques longer

You helped me with ideas on how to repair parts of an old crappy steamers trunk. The leather belt from Goodwill is a fantastic idea. Your Mother was knitting mittens and I asked her if she would sell a pair to me. After seeing how beautiful they were, I bought two pairs. I LOVE THEM!! I hung them from an antique Toboggan I bought on Craigslist. I check out your stuff on there every time I log in (which is daily). I'm so glad to have you here. You and your Mother really made an impact on me. I will never forget watching her concentrate on every perfect stitch of that mitten. I will always think of that day when I pull out the winter decorations. There are not a lot of people that show the genuine kindness that you do. Thank you for giving me a memory for the rest of my life.
