Wow - yes there are a lot of similarities, especially with the tower - fun! Ours has a more pronounced mansard roof ... inside is a 6' wide hallway, with rounded walls at the far end ... and a basement. But the similarities are…

Tell us about yourself:: Purchased a circa 1900 Victorian 3.5 years ago, in a small town in Oregon. Ecstatically married for 22+ years, Mother of 8 children (21 down to 2). Faux painting artist, creator of whimsically-painted furniture ... love to decorate eclectically..

Tell us about your old-house experiences and dreams:: This is our crash-course, LOL! Have learned a lot in remodeling our 1900 Victoriran and 1910 Craftsman guest house. Have finished both basements, added much trim work. Next: adding an art studio, replacing the roof with a metal roof, and repainting ala a Painted Lady (terrified to get bids!). Also up: landscaping an heirloom garden, regardless of my black thumb!
