Portieres

On to another topic.  Does anyone have portieres covering their front doors?  We have a large glass front door with sidelights and are thinking of putting one up to keep the cold out in the winter and heat out in the summer.  However, it's a huge investment in having it custom made (think 30 yards fabric) so wanted to know if having one made a difference in the way the house feels in summer and winter and in heating/cooling bills.See More
