- I am retired and busy doing things I never had time to do before. Besides historic preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of historic properties, I enjoy fly fishing, model railroading, photography, and mountain biking. Did I mention I have a 16-year old daughter? Being with her is my favorite passtime of all!
- Tell us about your old-house experiences and dreams:
- Over the years while I was a busy executive with the financial means to restore and rehabilitate historic homes, I managed to aquire and rehabilitate 8 properties ranging in date from 1785 to 1930. I even won a Historic Preservation Award from Mid-Atlantic Country Magazine. I enjoyed doing as much of the work myself as possible and found many talented craftsmen to partner with. I am trying to put together one last project with a 1750 house in Richmond, VA.
