it has a small basement with a newer cement wall put in with dirt about 4 feet of dirt??? what is this can i break up cement block and digg out dirt ???not all cement blocks just enuogh to get in…Continue

the plaster wall as you are walking up to the attic rooms which will be mine !!! are starting to fall wall paper hanging them on lol imma prettty sure glue or plaster nails wont help at this point its really thick plaster too i was thinking of breaking up plaster and drywalling and then wall papering after sealing up that part of near roof and insulateing too.. sounds like a real job has anyone ever conquered this before ????? rember it more like a cement plaster ???!!!!! built in 1910

we live in a small town indiana hopeing to move to a smaller town with a older home 1910 was the year it was built!!! so it will hold alot of challlenges to us !!i work full time hubby is on disability!! so ill have my hands full!! wish us luck we need it!!!
Tell us about your old-house experiences and dreams:
we are interested in a old house put down 1 thou for earnest offered 35,000.00 they wanted 39,900.00 we will see nov 3 yes or no.... the promblem s with the house we are looking at neeeds roof replacement/repair and plaster walls tear down in the top two attic bedrooms!!!!! train tracks are about 1000 ft or so from house can feel vibration ,,,, havent looked at sewer yet probably older clay tiles who knows!!!!!!
