Announcing MyOldHouseOnline's Home for the Holidays Contest

In the year or so since we started this community, we've been beyond impressed with the pictures of lovingly restored homes you've shared with us. And we're betting that when it comes time to decorate for the holidays, you're going to wow us once again. Think your holiday decorations have what it takes to win you a free year of Old-House Journal? Then enter them in our Home for the Holidays contest!

Here's the deal: Any holiday that falls between now and the end of the year is eligible. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year's...they're all fair game. Once we've gathered all the submissions, the editors will narrow it down to 10 finalists, and then we'll put it to you for a vote, right here on the community.

Ready to enter? Here's what to do:

Upload a photo. To do this, click on the "Photos" tab at the top of the page, then click "Add a Photo." Make sure the words "Holiday Decorations" appear somewhere on the photo (either in the title or the caption) so that we'll know it's meant for the contest. All photos must be up by January 5 to be considered for the contest.

We'll vote on the finalists during the last few weeks of January, so even if you don't have a photo to submit, be sure to check back to cast your vote!
