Electrical Install After with Plaster wall and Ceiling Repair

The pictures below show the walls and ceiling repairs post electrical install. Interesting note. We looked inot repairing the plaster ceiling where it was cracked and weak. These plastic washers with sheetrock screws are used to pull the plaster up tight to the lath.

There is actually an easier way to fix sagging, loose plaster that does not require all the plaster build up needed to cover plaster washers.  See "How to Fix Loose Plaster".  There is also a commercial product that does not need plaster washers called Big Wally's, but I don't think it works any better than our home-grown method.

I came across that article somwhere is researching the how-tos. There is always more than one way to skin a cat, as they say. Since I was not doing the work myself, I left it up to guy actually doing the job and he liked using the method above. I have to say it looks pretty good.

It does look good.  Congratulations on a job well done.
