Calling all handy homeowners! In conjunction with our storage-themed April/May issue
, the editors of Old-House Journal are looking for your best old-house storage ideas. We realize that a lack of storage space is often a huge disadvantage of older homes, but we also know it's true that necessity is the mother of invention—so we're betting you've found plenty of creative ways to get around the storage conundrum. Send us a photo, and you could win a free year of OHJ! Here's what to do:
-Upload a photo of your finished project
in the comments section of this post, or e-mail it to firstname.lastname@example.org. (If you e-mail it, be sure to put "Storage Contest" in the subject line.)
-Include a short description of your project:
How did you come up with the idea? How difficult was it to execute? How has it alleviated your storage woes?
-Make sure to submit your entry no later than March 15.
The editors will choose our favorite idea, and notify the winner via e-mail.
Good luck, everyone—we can't wait to see what you've come up with!
