Another shot. This bathroom used to have wallpaper, which was not compatible with the lack of an exhaust fan.

The porch steps were rebuilt last summer, and much of it was repainted in the fall, but now it is done.

Phil, what kind of beadboard is that? or should I ask, is it old/original or a new touch?

Nancy: it is old wainscotting, probably an early addition when the bathroom was put in, or possibly there was an unplumbed bathroom and it is original. It is beveled in on its edges, rather than having a bead, so it is not technically beadboard. The walls and the ceiling are masonite that was added over failed plaster, probably around 1950.
